We are recruiting an Optical Assistant for a busy practice in Swadlincote, offering 16 hours per week - weekend working only and a salary from £8.20 to £12.91 per hour. What you'll be doing
- Welcoming customers into store with a professional and friendly approach
- Booking in eye tests and managing the appointment diary
- Pre-screening patients prior to their examinations
- Providing expert style advice to help customers choose frames
- Measuring and fitting frames accurately
- Handling telephone enquiries and daily administrative tasks
What we're looking for
- Previous experience in a fast-paced customer service environment
- Background in retail is advantageous
- Hard-working attitude and a desire to learn new skills
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work well within a team
