We are recruiting for a full-time Optical Assistant job in Stafford offering Monday to Friday, 8.30am to 5.30pm (40 hours per week) with no weekends and no Bank Holidays, featuring a starting salary of £26,853 per annum. This rewarding domiciliary position involves visiting patients in their own homes across the West Midlands, supporting the delivery of high-quality eye care to those who cannot visit stores.
What you'll be doing
- Supporting patients through their eye care journey in their own homes
- Delivering excellent customer service and compassionate care
- Assisting with frame selection and dispensing, with full training provided if needed
- Working closely with a small, supportive team
- Travelling across Stafford, Stoke, Crewe and surrounding areas
What we're looking for
- Experience in optics or a strong retail and customer service background
- A passion for helping people and delivering exceptional service
- Great communication and relationship-building skills
- A positive, team-focused attitude
- Residency in WS11 or ST postcode areas
- A full UK driving licence, which is essential
Salary and benefits
- Starting salary of £26,853 per annum
