We are recruiting for a customer-focused Full Time - 37.5 hours per week, to include working a weekend day position based in the heart of Wrexham town centre, offering the ideal next step for those pursuing Optical Assistant jobs in Wrexham. This busy, well-established practice features nine test rooms and a large, experienced team of 43 colleagues dedicated to delivering outstanding optical and audiology services.
What you'll be doing
- Welcoming and helping customers as they walk through the doors
- Providing exceptional patient care and helping customers find the right solutions for vision and hearing needs
- Contributing to the continued commercial performance and success of the business
- Collaborating with dispensing staff, customer service colleagues, opticians, and technicians in a fast-paced environment
What we're looking for
- Previous optical or audiology experience
- Basic knowledge or experience of optical and/or audiology terminology
- Passionate, hard-working attitude with a commitment to teamwork and knowledge-sharing
- Willingness to participate in professional training, development programmes, and recognised certifications across optics, audiology, and the on-site lab
Salary and benefits
- Salary up to £26,000 per annum, dependent on experience and optical qualification
- Full Time - 37.5 hours per week, to include working a weekend day
