We are recruiting for a permanent Full Time - 40 hours per week, to include working a weekend day position for candidates seeking Optical Assistant jobs, with a competitive hourly rate of £8.20 - £12.91 per hour. Based across busy and customer-focused practices in Knowle and Keynsham, this is an ideal entry-level opportunity for a caring and hard-working individual ready to start a rewarding career in the South West. You will be supported by experienced opticians and technicians while delivering high-quality eye and hearing care services to the local community.
What you'll be doing
- Welcoming customers as they walk through our doors
- Booking in eye tests and managing phone calls
- Pre-screening patients ahead of their clinical appointments
- Providing expert style advice to help customers choose frames
- Measuring frames to ensure a comfortable and precise fit
- Working collaboratively across both our Keynsham and Knowle locations
