We are recruiting for a permanent Optical Assistant jobs Keynsham opportunity, offering a full-time contract of 40 hours per week to include working a weekend day. You will be based between our busy high street locations in Keynsham and Knowle, earning £8.20 - £12.91 per hour while completing a structured 15 to 18-month training programme that qualifies you as a fully-fledged Optical Assistant.
What you'll be doing
- Welcoming customers into the practice
- Booking in eye tests and taking phone calls
- Pre-screening patients ahead of their appointments
- Providing expert style advice and measuring frames
- Working collaboratively across both our Keynsham and Knowle locations
What we're looking for
- Passionate, motivated individuals who are great listeners and communicators
- GCSEs at grade 9-4 (A*-C) in Maths (or equivalent/predicted result)
- Right to work in the UK with at least 3 years of living in the EU
- No previous work experience within the optical sector
- Ability to travel to the practice locations on a daily basis
