We are recruiting for Optical Assistant jobs across Keynsham, offering a permanent contract of 40 hours per week, to include working a weekend day. This is an exciting chance to join a welcoming, community-focused practice situated in a busy high street setting with strong transport links to Bristol and Bath. You will have the opportunity to work across both our Keynsham and Knowle locations, delivering high-end care alongside a friendly and collaborative team.
What you'll be doing
- Welcoming customers warmly as they walk through the doors and guiding them through their visit
- Delivering outstanding patient and customer care in a modern, technology-equipped practice
- Assisting patients with frame selection and fitting
- Collaborating with experienced optometrists, dispensing opticians, and support colleagues
- Contributing to a supportive, inclusive, and knowledge-sharing environment
What we're looking for
- Previous experience in optics or audiology
- Basic knowledge of optical and/or audiology terminology
- A caring, passionate, and hard-working approach
- Motivation to develop your career with professional training and ongoing support
