We are looking to fill various Optical Assistant jobs in Marlow for an established high-street practice offering full time up to 40 hours per week including weekend working and a starting rate of up to £12.91 per hour. What you'll be doing
- Welcoming customers into the practice with a friendly approach
- Booking in eye tests and managing appointments efficiently
- Pre-screening patients using standard optical equipment
- Providing expert style advice and helping patients choose frames
- Measuring frames and adjusting spectacles for a comfortable fit
- Handling phone calls and general customer enquiries
What we're looking for
- A warm, approachable personality with a passion for customer service
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work well within a busy team
- Reliability and a willingness to learn new clinical and retail skills
- Previous customer service or retail experience is advantageous but full training is provided
