We are recruiting an Optical Assistant for a full-time 37.5 hour contract including a weekend day, based in Durham. This permanent position offers a salary of £25,500 per annum alongside a bonus of up to £2,000 per year OTE.
What you'll be doing
- Confidently welcoming and helping customers as they walk through the doors
- Supporting patients and visitors throughout their journey in the practice
- Working alongside a dedicated team of experienced opticians and technicians
- Contributing to a fast-paced retail and customer service environment
What we're looking for
- Previous optical experience or a background in an audiology business
- Basic knowledge and experience of optical or audiology terminology
- Experience working in a fast-paced customer service environment
