We are currently recruiting an Optometrist jobs Loanhead candidate for a community-based visiting role across Scotland, offering full-time and part-time hours. This rewarding position brings essential clinical care directly to patients who cannot visit a high street practice, backed by a basic salary of up to £65,000 FTE and a £10,000 welcome bonus.
What you'll be doing as an Optometrist in Loanhead
- Driving to patients' homes across a given territory covering Edinburgh, Livingston, Haddington, Peebles, Galashiels and surrounding areas
- Providing comprehensive eye care and clinical support to people in the comfort of their own residences
- Helping vulnerable patients with everyday tasks they cannot manage alone, bringing care to the heart of the community
- Working independently while collaborating closely with a dedicated support team
What we're looking for
- GOC registered optometrist with an up-to-date membership
- Full UK driving licence
- Passionate about delivering exceptional patient service and clinical care
- Comfortable working both autonomously and as part of a wider mobile team
Salary and benefits
- £65,000 FTE basic salary (dependent on experience)
- £5,000 FTE car allowance or company car provided
