We are recruiting an Optical Assistant for a busy practice in Milton Keynes, offering Full Time - 37.5 hours per week including weekend working and a salary of up to £29,000 depending on experience. What you'll be doing
- Acting as the friendly face of the practice, delivering outstanding customer service for every visitor
- Using your communication and listening skills to understand customer needs and guide them through products and services
- Collaborating with the wider team to create a welcoming and efficient store environment
- Using IT systems confidently while maintaining high standards on the shop floor
- Engaging openly with training, feedback, and new opportunities to develop your skills
What we're looking for
- Previous optical experience as an Optical Assistant, Optical Advisor, or Dispensing Assistant
- A genuine passion for providing excellent customer service and making customers' lives easier
- Great teamwork and strong individual initiative
- A willingness to learn, develop, and receive guidance throughout your career journey
- Background knowledge in optics, audiology, or a fast-paced customer service setting
