We are currently hiring for Full time - 42 hours (Part time also available - Will include a weekend day) Optical Assistant jobs Hessle, offering a competitive starting rate and a welcoming team environment.
Based in Hessle with local parking available, the practice is looking for a caring, hardworking individual to welcome and assist customers as they walk through the doors. You will be joining a dedicated team with the full support of experienced opticians and technicians on hand as you develop your career.
What you'll be doing
- Welcoming customers warmly as they arrive in practice
- Helping patients navigate their options with confidence
- Assisting the team with day-to-day optical duties
- Communicating basic optical terminology to customers
What we're looking for
- Previous optical experience
- Experience in a fast-paced customer service environment
- Background within an optics or audiology business
- Basic knowledge of optical and/or audiology terminology
Salary and benefits
- From £13.50 per hour depending on recent experience (pro-rata for part-time)
- Full time - 42 hours (Part time also available - Will include a weekend day)
