We are looking for a proactive people person to take on an Optical Assistant position in Walthamstow, offering full-time hours (40 hours per week including weekend working) and a starting salary of £27k (experience depending). If you have previous optical experience and want to be the friendly face of a busy practice, this could be the ideal opportunity.
What you'll be doing
- Greet customers and act as the friendly face of the practice
- Use your customer service skills to create an outstanding environment for customers and the team
- Talk customers through products and services to help them find the right fit
What we're looking for
- At least 3 months experience working in an opticians
- Previous experience in a fast-paced customer service environment
- Experience in optics or audiology businesses
- Basic knowledge or experience of optical and/or audiology terminology
