We are currently recruiting an Optometrist jobs candidate for a domiciliary position based on the east coast, covering areas such as Edinburgh, Livingston, Haddington, Peebles, and Galashiels. You will be driving our services directly to the doorsteps of patients who are unable to visit standard practices, bringing essential clinical care and support to the heart of the community.
What you'll be doing
- Provide comprehensive eye care and examinations to patients in their own homes across the region
- Help individuals with sight testing and support them with everyday tasks they cannot manage without you
- Work independently while maintaining a strong connection to our dedicated and supportive team
- Utilise a company car or allowance to travel safely to each patient appointment
What we're looking for
- Full registration as a member of the General Optical Council with your status kept up to date
- A full driving licence
- A confident, outgoing personality with a genuine passion for providing exceptional customer service
- Comfort working autonomously as well as collaborating effectively within a broader team
Salary and benefits
- Basic salary of £65,000 fte (depending on experience)
- Car allowance of £5,000 fte
