We are recruiting for a full-time or part-time Optometrist job in Haddington, offering a basic salary of £65,000 FTE alongside a £10,000 welcome bonus.
Take your clinical skills on the road in this unique domiciliary role, covering a territory across Edinburgh, Livingston, Haddington, Peebles, and Galashiels. You will provide vital eye care and support to patients in their own homes who are unable to visit a high street practice, bringing essential clinical care directly to the heart of the community.
What you'll be doing
- Travel to patients' homes within your assigned territory to deliver professional eye examinations and clinical care
- Help vulnerable patients with sight and basic tasks they cannot manage independently
- Work autonomously while collaborating with a dedicated support team
- Drive company-provided transport or use your company car allowance to visit patients
What we're looking for
- GOC registration and current membership, kept up to date
- A full UK driving licence
- A confident, compassionate approach with a passion for delivering exceptional patient care
- Comfort working both independently and as part of a wider team
