We are recruiting an experienced Optical Assistant jobs candidate for a mobile community role covering Scarborough, with a starting salary of £26,833.00 per annum and a £2,000 Welcome Bonus. This permanent position involves working Monday to Friday 8.30am to 5.30pm, bringing essential eyecare directly to patients in their own homes and local care homes across the region.
What you'll be doing
- Schedule clinic visits efficiently to ensure patients receive the highest standard of care
- Deliver exceptional customer service, supporting individuals who cannot visit a high street store
- Collaborate closely with the wider team to provide compassionate, community-focused support
- Use your knowledge of optical products and services to assist patients during home visits
What we're looking for
- Previous optical experience is essential
- Excellent customer care and communication skills
- A full UK driving licence
Salary and benefits
- £26,833.00 per annum
