We are currently recruiting for Optical Assistant jobs across the UK, including a mobile community role covering the Yorkshire and Leeds area, based out of Harrogate. This permanent position offers Monday to Friday 8.30am to 5.30pm with some flexibility required, a salary of £26,833.00 per annum, and a £2,000 Welcome Bonus for new employees.
What you'll be doing
- Provide eye care directly to patients in their own homes and within care homes, supporting those who cannot visit standard practices.
- Work closely with the team to ensure clinic scheduling is completed efficiently and effectively.
- Deliver outstanding customer service and share a passion for optical products and services.
- Drive to different locations within the region to bring essential care to the local community.
What we're looking for
- Previous optical experience is essential for this position.
- Excellent customer care and communication skills.
- A full UK driving licence is required to travel for home visits.
