We are looking for a dedicated Optical Assistant for a mobile role covering the region including Southend-on-Sea, working Monday to Friday, 8.30am to 5.30pm (flexibility required) with a combined package of up to £35,000 per annum. This mobile position brings clinical eye care directly to patients who are unable to visit standard high street practices.
What you'll be doing
- Driving services to the doorsteps of patients across the region, which stretches from Romford across to Colchester, Bishop's Stortford, and down to Optical Assistant jobs Southend-on-Sea
- Providing vital eye care and bringing clinical support into the heart of the community
- Working in a varied range of locations and testing environments every day, ensuring no two days are the same
- Confidently dispensing lenses at all levels
- Delivering exceptional customer service in a fast-paced environment
What we're looking for
- Current or recent optical experience (at least 6 months to 1 year)
- Ability to confidently dispense lenses at all levels
- Full UK driving licence
- Previous experience in a fast-paced customer service environment is desirable
Salary and benefits
- Salary: Up to £29,000 per annum depending on experience, with a combined package of up to £35,000 per annum
