We are recruiting for Optical Assistant jobs in Grays, offering a unique mobile role that brings eye care directly to patients who cannot visit traditional practices. This position provides Monday to Friday 8.30am to 5.30pm hours (flexibility required), paying a salary of up to £29,000 per annum DOE with a combined package of up to £35,000 per annum.
What you'll be doing
- Driving mobile services to the doorsteps of patients within a region stretching from Romford across to Colchester and from Bishop's Stortford down to Southend-on-Sea
- Working in a range of locations and testing environments every day where no two days are the same
- Bringing clinical care and smiles into the heart of the community
- Confidently dispensing lenses at all levels
What we're looking for
- Current or recent optical experience of at least 6 months to 1 year
- The ability to confidently dispense at all levels
- A full UK driving licence
- Previous experience in a fast-paced customer service environment is desirable
Salary and benefits
