We are looking for a dedicated candidate to fill one of the best Optical Assistant vacancies currently available, offering a Monday to Friday, 8.30am to 5.30pm schedule with required flexibility. What you'll be doing
- Driving services to the doorsteps of patients, providing clinical care and bringing smiles into the heart of the community
- Working in a range of locations and testing environments every day where no two days are the same
- Covering a wide region stretching from Romford across to Colchester, Bishop's Stortford down to Southend-on-Sea, with the team aiming to keep you as close to home as possible
- Confidently dispensing lenses at all levels
What we're looking for
- Full UK driving licence
- Current or recent optical experience (at least 6 months to 1 year)
- Ability to confidently dispense lenses at all levels
- Previous experience in a fast-paced customer service environment is desirable
Salary and benefits
- Salary: up to £29,000 per annum DOE (combined package of up to £35,000 per annum)
- Car allowance of £3,000 per annum
- Performance-based bonus averaging between £2,000 and £3,000 per annum
