We are looking for someone to fill one of the current Optical Assistant jobs in Romford, working on a mobile basis across the region on a Monday to Friday 8.30am to 5.30pm schedule with required flexibility. This rewarding position offers a salary of up to £29,000 per annum DOE, a combined package of up to £35,000 per annum, and a £3,000 per annum car allowance.
What you'll be doing
- Driving mobile services to the doorsteps of patients across a region stretching from Romford to Colchester, Bishop's Stortford, and Southend-on-Sea
- Working in a varied range of locations and testing environments every day so no two days are the same
- Bringing smiles, support, and care directly into the heart of the community

What we're looking for
- Current or recent optical experience of at least 6 months to 1 year
- The ability to confidently dispense lenses at all levels
- A full UK driving licence
- Previous experience in a fast-paced customer service environment is desirable
