We are recruiting for a friendly team member to take on a permanent 40 hours per week Optical Assistant position based on London Road in the heart of East Grinstead. What you'll be doing
- Confidently welcoming customers as they walk through the doors and helping them with their enquiries
- Supporting patients with frame selection, fitting, and dispensing
- Assisting the team with day-to-day practice operations
- Promoting comprehensive eye tests, contact lens services, and professional hearing care
What we're looking for
- Previous experience in a fast-paced customer service environment
- Experience in an optics or audiology business
- Basic knowledge or experience of optical and/or audiology terminology
- A caring, passionate, and hard-working approach to patient care
