We are currently recruiting for an Optical Assistant in Nottingham who is proactive, people-oriented, and passionate about delivering excellent customer service within a busy practice.
What you'll be doing
- Welcoming customers into the practice and managing appointments
- Booking in eye tests and carrying out patient pre-screening
- Offering professional style advice and helping patients choose frames
- Measuring frames to ensure a correct and comfortable fit
- Answering telephone calls and handling general enquiries
What we're looking for
- GCSE Maths at Grade 9-4 (A*-C) or an equivalent level qualification
- Right to work in the UK, with residency in the EU for three years or more
- A genuine enthusiasm for optics, retail, or practice management
- No previous work experience in the optical sector
