We are recruiting for a permanent full-time (40 hours per week) Optical Assistant in Chingford, offering a starting salary of £27,000 depending on experience, with weekend working included. What you'll be doing
- Acting as the friendly face of the practice, providing an outstanding environment for customers and team members alike
- Using your customer service skills and optical product knowledge to assist patients
- Contributing to the daily running of a busy store across the Chingford, Low Hall and Winchmore Hill areas
What we're looking for
- At least 3 months of experience working in an opticians practice
- Strong communication skills and a passion for customer care
- Previous experience in a fast-paced customer service environment is desirable
- Experience or basic knowledge within optics, audiology, or related terminology is a bonus
