We are recruiting for a mobile Optical Assistant jobs vacancy based in Ealing, offering full or part-time hours (minimum 3 days per week, 9am to 5.30pm with flexibility required) and a salary of up to £28,000 pro rata DOE, plus a car allowance of £3,240 per annum. This is an exciting opportunity to take your career on the road, providing essential eye care to vulnerable patients in their own homes across South West London and Greater London.
What you'll be doing
- Driving optical services directly to the doorsteps of patients who are unable to visit traditional stores
- Working in a varied range of locations and testing environments where no two days are the same
- Spending quality one-on-one time with patients in their own homes to cater to their specific needs
- Confidently dispensing at all levels while bringing clinical care into the heart of the community
What we're looking for
- Current or recent optical experience of at least 6 months to 1 year, with the ability to confidently dispense at all levels
- A full UK driving licence and your own car (essential due to the mobile nature of the role and travel times across the region)
- Preferred candidates based in the SW, KT, or TW postcode areas
- Previous experience in a fast-paced customer service environment is desirable
