We are currently recruiting candidates for Optical Assistant jobs in Ruislip, offering full or part-time hours, with a minimum of three days per week and a working schedule of 9.00am to 5.30pm (flexibility required) and a competitive salary of up to £28,000 pro rata. This mobile role brings clinical eye care directly to vulnerable patients in their own homes across the community.
What you'll be doing
- Driving services to the doorsteps of patients who are unable to visit standard practices
- Working in a range of varied locations and testing environments every day, ensuring no two days are the same
- Spending quality, one-on-one time with patients in their own homes to cater to their specific needs
- Bringing clinical care and support to people within the local community
What we're looking for
- Current or recent optical experience of at least 6 months to 1 year
- Ability to confidently dispense at all levels
- A full UK driving licence and your own car
- Previous experience in a fast-paced customer service environment is desirable
