We are looking for a dedicated candidate to fill Full or part-time considered (minimum 3 days per week for part-time), 9am-5.30pm hours for Optical Assistant jobs based in Harrow. This mobile community-based position offers a salary of up to £28,000 pro rata DOE, combined with a car allowance of £3,240 per annum (pro rata), taking eye care directly to vulnerable patients in their own homes.
What you'll be doing
- Driving community eye care services to the doorsteps of patients unable to visit traditional practices
- Working across a varied range of locations and testing environments where no two days are the same
- Spending quality, one-on-one time with patients in their own homes to cater to their specific needs
- Bringing clinical care and a supportive presence to the heart of the community
What we're looking for
- Current or recent optical experience (at least 6 months to 1 year) with the ability to confidently dispense at all levels
- A full UK driving licence and your own car (essential for travel across the region)
- Previous experience in a fast-paced customer service environment is desirable
