We are recruiting a permanent Optical Assistant for a busy practice in Tallaght, working full-time hours of 37.5 per week including weekend working. This is an ideal chance to secure Optical Assistant jobs in Tallaght within a supportive team based in The Square Shopping Centre.
What you'll be doing
- Acting as the friendly face of the practice, greeting customers and creating an outstanding store environment
- Using your passion for products and services alongside incredible customer service skills
- Using the latest technology and systems in store
- Working collaboratively with the rest of the team to keep the practice running smoothly
What we're looking for
- Previous optical experience as an Optical Advisor or Dispensing Assistant
- Passion for providing excellent customer service and making customers' lives easier
- Great teamwork and strong initiative
- Confidence in using IT systems
- Excellent communication and listening skills
- Prepared to step out of your comfort zone and try something new
- Openness to receiving feedback and development
- Previous experience in a fast-paced customer service environment is desirable
- Knowledge or experience of optical and/or audiology terminology is a bonus
