We are recruiting for a home visits Optical Assistant to cover the South and South East London region while working Monday to Friday – core hours are 9am to 6pm (Flexibility required), offering a competitive £27,000 per annum salary. Based from the office in Cobham, this mobile position brings essential eye care directly to vulnerable patients who cannot visit a high street practice.
What you'll be doing
- Providing clinical care and support to patients in their own homes across the South and South East London region
- Helping patients with basic tasks they cannot manage independently, bringing care directly to the community
- Working alongside a dedicated team of people from optical and administrative backgrounds
- Using tablets, laptops and new systems confidently while on the road
What we're looking for
- Previous optical experience
- Must have a full UK driving license
- Previous experience in a fast-paced customer-facing environment is desirable
- Confidence using new systems, tablets, and laptops
Salary and benefits
- £27,000 per annum
- Up to £2,000 Golden Hello (T&Cs apply)
- Monday to Friday – core hours are 9am to 6pm (Flexibility required)
