A mobile Optical Assistant job in Dorking, offering Monday to Friday – core hours are 9am to 6pm (Flexibility required) with a salary of £27,000 per annum and an additional Up to £2,000 Golden Hello (T&C's apply). This community-based role provides vital eye care to vulnerable patients who cannot visit traditional practices.
What you'll be doing
- Driving services to the doorsteps of patients across the region, based from the office in Cobham and covering the South & South East London area
- Delivering clinical care and supporting patients with basic tasks they cannot manage independently
- Meeting and working alongside a dedicated team from optical and administrative backgrounds
- Using tablets, laptops and new systems with confidence
What we're looking for
- Previous optical experience
- Must have a full UK driving license
- Previous experience in a fast-paced customer facing environment
- Ability to use new systems, tablets and laptops confidently
Salary and benefits
