We are looking for a dedicated team member to take on a community-based Optical Assistant job in Guildford, offering Monday to Friday working hours from 9am to 6pm with some flexibility required, plus a starting salary of £27,000 per annum. This mobile position involves travelling to provide essential eye care and support to vulnerable patients who are unable to visit a standard practice.
What you'll be doing
- Driving our services directly to the doorsteps of patients in the community
- Providing vital clinical care and assisting individuals with basic tasks they cannot manage alone
- Bringing a supportive presence and clinical care to the heart of the local community
What we're looking for
- Previous optical experience
- A full UK driving licence
- Previous experience in a fast-paced customer facing environment is desirable
- Confidence using new systems, tablets, and laptops
Salary and benefits
- £27,000 per annum
- Up to £2,000 Golden Hello (T&Cs apply)
