An opportunity has opened for Dispensing Optician jobs in Peterborough, offering a competitive £30,000 to £34,000 salary dependent on experience. This full-time, 37.5-hour permanent position is based in a busy practice in East England featuring eight sight test rooms and running six clinics a day.
What you'll be doing
- Deliver the best patient care and create a warm, friendly atmosphere for customers and the team
- Supervise a team of six to seven staff members in this DO Supervisor capacity
- Conduct one-to-ones, oversee the shop floor, and maintain high store standards
- Manage KPIs and coach team members to support ongoing development
- Guide patients through their optics and audiology journeys with excellent listening and communication skills
What we're looking for
- GOC-registered Dispensing Optician qualification, including newly qualified DOs welcome
- BSc (HONS) in Ophthalmic Dispensing
- Strong understanding of optics and audiology journeys
- Passionate about providing top-notch customer service
- Amazing team player with great communication skills
