An exciting opportunity has opened for an Optical Assistant jobs Bath seeker looking for a mobile role covering the North West. This position is offered on a part-time position of 24 hours per week working Wednesday, Thursday & Friday 8.30am-5.30pm (flexibility required), bringing essential eye care directly to vulnerable patients in their own homes.
What you'll be doing
- Driving mobile services to the doorsteps of patients who are unable to visit standard stores
- Providing varied clinical care and support across different testing environments every day
- Delivering 1-on-1 patient care in a comfortable setting to help improve sight and bring smiles to the community
- Covering a territory that includes Herefordshire, Gloucestershire, Swindon and Wiltshire, Bath, Northeast Somerset, Bristol, and parts of Wales including Chepstow and Monmouth
What we're looking for
- Current or recent optical experience of at least 6 months to 1 year
- Ability to confidently dispense at all levels
- A full UK driving licence, as travel across the regional territory is essential
- A driven, approachable personality with a strong background in customer service
