We are recruiting for a community-focused mobile role covering Herefordshire, Gloucestershire, Swindon, Wiltshire, Bath, North East Somerset, Bristol, and parts of Wales including Chepstow and Monmouth, with our preferred candidate based in South Bristol or Weston-super-Mare.
What you'll be doing
- Driving our services to the doorsteps of vulnerable patients who are unable to visit traditional practices
- Providing essential eye care and clinical support directly in patients' homes
- Working across a varied range of locations and testing environments where no two days are the same
- Delivering a high standard of patient care with extended one-on-one time
- Bringing clinical care and a welcoming presence into the heart of the community
What we're looking for
- Current or recent optical experience of at least 6 months to 1 year
- Ability to confidently dispense at all levels
- Full UK driving licence
- A driven, approachable personality with strong people skills
- Previous experience in a fast-paced customer service environment is desirable
Salary and benefits
- Part-time: 24 hours per week working Wednesday, Thursday and Friday 8.30am to 5.30pm (flexibility required)
