We are recruiting an Optical Assistant for a full-time, Monday to Friday 9am-6pm position based in Wembley, offering a salary of £26,852 to £28,000 per annum and a £3,000 car allowance. What you'll be doing
- Running clinics and delivering glasses directly to patients in their homes and care home settings
- Providing a high-quality, professional service with a kind, friendly, and enthusiastic demeanour
- Working independently using your own initiative to support customers and the clinical team
- Covering the E and IG postcode areas of East London, with travel supported by a dedicated car allowance
What we're looking for as an Optical Assistant in Wembley
- Recent optical experience (at least 6 to 12 months) with the ability to confidently dispense at all levels, measure, and fit
- Full UK driving licence and confidence as a driver
- Strong people skills and the ability to strike up a conversation with anyone
- Experience in a fast-paced customer-facing environment (desirable)
- Confidence using new systems, tablets, and laptops (desirable)
Salary and benefits
- Salary of £26,852 - £28,000 per annum (dependent on experience)
