We are recruiting for a full-time Optical Assistant jobs in Fulham opening, offering a competitive salary of £26,852 - £28,000 per annum and working Monday to Friday 9am-6pm (flexibility required). This mobile role provides a unique opportunity to use your optical experience to deliver a professional service to patients in their own homes and care home settings across East London (covering the E and IG postcode areas).
What you'll be doing
- Carrying out clinics and delivering glasses to patients in their own homes and care home settings
- Ensuring every customer receives a high-quality professional service and a great experience
- Working on your own initiative while supporting the clinical team
- Dispensing at all levels, as well as measuring and fitting
What we're looking for
- Current or recent optical experience (at least 6 months to 1 year)
- Ability to confidently dispense at all levels, measure and fit
- A full UK driving licence and confidence as a driver
- An enthusiastic, kind, friendly, and reliable demeanour with a strong work ethic
- Previous experience in a fast-paced customer-facing environment is desirable
- Confidence using new systems, tablets, and laptops
