We are looking for a dedicated full-time – Monday to Friday 9am-6pm (flexibility required) candidate to fill a new Optical Assistant role based in Stratford, offering a starting salary of £26,852 - £28,000 per annum dependent on experience. What you'll be doing
- Delivering a high-quality professional service to patients in their own homes and care home settings across East London covering E and IG postcodes
- Carrying out clinics and delivering glasses to patients while ensuring every customer has a great experience
- Working on your own initiative and dealing confidently with customers using new systems, tablets, and laptops
What we're looking for
- Current or recent optical experience of at least 6 months to 1 year
- The ability to confidently dispense at all levels, measure and fit
- A full UK driving licence and confidence as a driver
- A kind, friendly, enthusiastic demeanour with a strong work ethic and the ability to strike up a conversation with anyone
- Previous experience in a fast-paced customer-facing environment is desirable
Salary and benefits
- £26,852 - £28,000 per annum dependent on experience
