We are recruiting for a full-time Optometrist job in Hempstead, offering a salary of up to £65,000 per annum and a four-day working week.
What you'll be doing
Joining a modern, state-of-the-art practice that opened recently in Kent, you will be part of a forward-thinking clinical team. The store spans two floors with nine test rooms, giving you access to advanced equipment.
- Conduct thorough sight tests and clinical examinations using modern technology, including the latest OCT systems and automatic phoropter units
- Get involved with local NHS schemes such as MECS, MECS 2, Repeat IOP, Post-Op Cataract Assessments, and Hydroxychloroquine screening
- Build strong rapport with patients and colleagues while delivering exceptional customer care
- Support professional development, with opportunities to supervise pre-registration practitioners and progress toward senior roles
What we're looking for
- GOC registered Optometrist, open to both newly qualified and experienced practitioners
- A clinical judgment-led approach with a passion for patient care
- Someone keen to develop their clinical skills and participate in enhanced optical services
Salary and benefits
- Up to £65,000 per annum depending on experience, plus a performance-related bonus
- Four-day working week (Monday to Friday pattern, covering 1 Sunday every 5 weeks)
