A professional Monday to Friday – full time and part time considered Optometrist position is available in Gillingham, offering up to £65,000 per annum depending on experience. This community-focused practice in the South East provides a collaborative working environment and strong clinical support.
What you'll be doing
- Conducting thorough eye examinations and providing exceptional patient care
- Utilizing modern clinical technology including Nidek Retina DUO II OCT, Nidek and Frost Phoropters in all rooms, and Nidek Tonoref III
- Participating in local NHS schemes including MECS, Repeat IOP, and Post-Op Cataract Assessments
- Working alongside a fully trained team including Optical Assistants, Dispensing Opticians, a Contact Lens Optician, and an audiology team across three test rooms
- Building rapport with patients and helping drive the practice forward as part of a collaborative group of four sister stores in the area
What we're looking for
- Qualified and GOC registered Optometrist, open to both newly qualified and experienced practitioners
- A passion for clinical excellence and ongoing professional development
- Strong clinical judgment and a hands-on approach to patient care
- Willingness to get involved with enhanced optical services and pre-reg supervision
