We are looking for a dedicated clinician to fill a part-time, 2-3 days per week schedule with Saturday or Sunday and Thursday required, offering up to £70,000 (pro rata) depending on your clinical qualifications. This is an excellent Optometrist job in Caerphilly for a candidate looking to advance their clinical practice and professional development.
What you'll be doing
- Providing thorough eye examinations and contact lens services to every patient
- Working closely with the practice team to deliver high standards of clinical care and customer service
- Helping patients access the new Wales General Ophthalmic Services (WGOS) framework, utilising higher accreditations at primary level
- Contributing to a warm, friendly, and welcoming environment for customers and colleagues
What we're looking for
- Registration as a member of the General Optical Council (GOC) with your membership kept up to date
- Confidence and passion for delivering exceptional patient care
- A strong team player who communicates well with colleagues
- Ambition to develop your career, with openness to obtaining higher accreditations such as IP or pursuing future directorship and equity shareholding
