We are seeking a dedicated professional for full-time or part-time Optometrist jobs in Swindon, bringing essential clinical care directly to patients who cannot visit a high street practice. This mobile position offers a salary up to £65,000 (depending on experience) alongside a £10,000 welcome bonus and a car allowance of £5,000 or a company car.
What you'll be doing
- Driving the mobile service across the territory to provide eye care in patients' own homes
- Supporting vulnerable individuals with both their clinical needs and basic daily tasks they cannot manage alone
- Using the latest portable optical equipment to deliver thorough sight tests and consultations
- Working independently while collaborating closely with a dedicated support team
What we're looking for
- Registration as a member of the General Optical Council (GOC) with registration kept up to date
- A full driving licence
- Confidence, passion for excellent customer service, and the ability to work both autonomously and as part of a team
