We are recruiting a community-based Optometrist for a permanent role covering Derby, Belper, and the surrounding East Midlands region. This position offers a basic salary of up to £65,000 depending on experience, taking clinical eye care directly to patients in their own homes.
What you'll be doing
- Drive out to provide essential eye care services to patients who are unable to visit standard high street practices.
- Support vulnerable patients with their sight and help them manage basic daily tasks they could not otherwise handle.
- Work independently while remaining supported by a dedicated local team.
- Deliver patient-centred clinical care and bring smiles to the heart of the community.
What we're looking for
- GOC registration as a qualified optometrist with active membership kept up to date.
- Full UK driving licence and a willingness to travel across the designated territory.
- A confident, compassionate approach with a strong passion for providing excellent customer service.
- Comfort and capability working both autonomously and as part of a wider team.
