We are recruiting an Optometrist jobs Ashbourne candidate for a mobile role covering the local community, with a basic salary of up to £65,000 depending on experience. You will be visiting patients in their own homes across the area, bringing essential clinical eye care directly to people who are unable to visit a traditional practice.
What you'll be doing
- Providing comprehensive eye care and clinical support to patients in their own homes within a given territory based in Derby and surrounding areas
- Helping individuals with sight tests and supporting them with everyday tasks they cannot manage alone
- Working independently while collaborating as part of a wider dedicated local team
- Participating in a specific training programme providing a non-interactive CPD point and a paid interview experience
What we're looking for
- GOC registration as a qualified optometrist with an up-to-date membership
- A full driving licence and readiness to travel to patients' doorsteps
- Confidence, passion for delivering high standards of customer service, and the ability to work well both autonomously and in a team
