We are hiring for Monday to Friday: 9am-6pm (flexibility required) on a permanent basis, offering some of the best Optical Assistant jobs available right now with a home visits service covering Wembley and surrounding postcodes. This mobile position pays a £26,852 - £28,000 per annum basic salary alongside a car allowance of £3,000 per annum.
What you'll be doing
- Delivering a professional optical service to patients in their own homes and in local care home settings across NW2, NW4, NW7, NW9, HA0, HA3, HA7, HA8 and HA9.
- Carrying out daily clinics, setting up portable equipment multiple times per day, and delivering glasses to patients.
- Dispensing at all levels, measuring and fitting frames where experienced, while working on your own initiative.
- Interacting warmly with customers and residents, bringing a kind, friendly demeanour to every visit.
What we're looking for
- Previous experience in an optical, care or healthcare background, ideally within a fast-paced customer-facing environment.
- Confidence using new systems, tablets, and laptops.
- A confident driver holding a full clean UK driving licence with access to your own vehicle.
- A real people person who is physically able to set up clinic equipment and has a hard-working, reliable attitude.
