What you'll be doing
- Conducting comprehensive eye examinations to diagnose and manage a range of eye conditions.
- Providing expert advice and recommendations to patients on their eye health and vision needs.
- Working with advanced diagnostic equipment to ensure accurate assessments.
- Collaborating with other members of the optical team to deliver seamless patient care.
- Participating in the local MECS service (ACES).
- Gaining experience in the commercial aspects of running an optical practice and developing leadership skills.
What we're looking for
- A recognised optometric qualification
- Valid GOC registration
- Eligibility to work in the UK
- A strong commitment to professional development and patient care
- Experience with diagnostic equipment such as OCT, fundus photography, autorefraction, and NCT is beneficial
