An exciting full-time and/or part-time Optometrist job in Newtownards is available with a well-equipped practice offering a competitive salary of up to £45,000 alongside extensive relocation and joining support.
What you'll be doing
As part of the team, you will deliver high standards of clinical care and professional service within a busy modern environment.
- Conduct thorough eye examinations and sight tests
- Diagnose, treat, and manage a range of eye conditions
- Provide expert advice and recommendations to patients
- Utilise advanced optical technology, including a Fundus Camera and OCT, for accurate assessments
- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation
- Collaborate with the wider optical team to ensure seamless patient journeys
What we're looking for
- Must be a GOC-registered Optometrist
- Proven experience in a similar clinical role
- Strong clinical skills and a commitment to professional development
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities

Salary and benefits
- Salary of up to £45,000, dependent on experience and qualifications, plus a performance-based bonus
- Joining Bonus: Up to £20,000 (terms apply)
- Relocation Support: Up to £19,000 available for those relocating (terms apply)
