We are recruiting an ambitious Optometrist for a permanent part-time or full-time position in Newry, Northern Ireland, offering a salary of up to £50,000 DOE alongside a welcome bonus of up to £20,000. What you'll be doing
You will be responsible for delivering exceptional clinical care and professional excellence to every patient who walks through the doors. The practice is equipped with modern diagnostic technology, including OCT, Fundus Cameras, and Phoropters, allowing you to thoroughly assess ocular health and provide tailored vision correction.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Conducting thorough eye examinations and vision tests
- Diagnosing and managing ocular diseases and conditions
- Prescribing and fitting corrective lenses
- Providing patient education on eye care and health
- Maintaining accurate patient records
- Collaborating with the wider optical team to ensure seamless patient journeys
