We are recruiting an Optometrist in Fort William for a 12-month fixed-term contract, offering either full-time or part-time hours with weekend flexibility. This brand-new practice opening in the Scottish Highlands gives you the chance to shape a modern clinical environment from day one.
What you'll be doing
- Conduct comprehensive eye examinations using advanced clinical technology, including OCT, FARS, and a Zeiss Fields Analyser.
- Diagnose and manage eye conditions while providing exceptional patient care and advice.
- Help establish operational standards and contribute to the growth and ongoing success of the new practice.
- Collaborate with the wider team to foster a positive, professional, and supportive working environment.
What we're looking for
- Fully qualified and GOC registered Optometrist
- Demonstrated confidence and ambition in clinical practice
- A strong work ethic, a willingness to succeed, and the ability to encourage colleagues
Salary and benefits
- Salary: Up to £65,000, dependent on experience.
