What you'll be doing
As an Optometrist, you will travel to patients' residences and care home settings across the Buckinghamshire areas. Your primary focus will be delivering comprehensive eye examinations to vulnerable individuals who are unable to visit a traditional practice.
You will be a crucial point of contact, bringing both clinical expertise and a compassionate approach to the heart of the community.
- Conduct thorough eye examinations for patients in their homes and care home environments.
- Provide essential optical care and advice tailored to individual patient needs.
- Support patients in maintaining their independence through improved vision.
- Collaborate with a dedicated team of optical and administrative professionals.
- Travel to designated patient areas using a provided company car or car allowance.
What we're looking for
- Registration with the General Optical Council (GOC).
- A full UK driving license.
Salary and benefits
- Basic salary of £70,000 FTE (depending on experience).
- Company car or car allowance of £4,200 FTE, plus business mileage reimbursement.
