An opportunity has arisen for Dispensing Optician jobs in Lancaster, bringing essential eye care directly to patients in their own homes and care homes across the region. This is a full-time position offering a basic salary of £35,000 FTE alongside a company car or car allowance.
What you'll be doing
You will act as the face of vital eye care services, reaching individuals who are unable to visit traditional optical practices. Your work will enable vulnerable people to carry out daily tasks with improved comfort and a better quality of life.
- Deliver eye care to patients in their own homes or within care home settings
- Provide essential optical support and ensure a high standard of patient care
- Use portable technology, including tablets and laptops, while on the road
What we're looking for
To be considered for this role, candidates must demonstrate the right professional background and hold the necessary permissions to travel between appointments.
- Registration with the General Optical Council (GOC)
- Previous experience working as a Dispensing Optician
- A full UK driving license
- Previous experience in a fast-paced, customer-facing environment is desirable
- Confidence in using new technology
