We are recruiting for a rewarding Dispensing Optician job in Morecambe, delivering essential eye care services directly to patients' homes across the local community. This role offers a basic salary of £35,000 FTE alongside a company car and substantial bonus opportunities for the right candidate.
What you'll be doing
You will be the face of optical services for vulnerable patients who are unable to visit a practice, ensuring they receive the best possible care and support in their own homes or care home settings.
- Delivering comprehensive eye care services to patients in their homes across the region
- Providing support for basic tasks that patients may struggle with without your assistance
- Bringing essential clinical care and a positive presence to the heart of the community
What we're looking for
To be successful in this position, you will need to meet the following criteria:
- Registration with the General Optical Council (GOC)
- Previous experience working as a Dispensing Optician
- A full UK driving license
- Previous experience in a fast-paced, customer-facing environment
- Confidence in using new systems, tablets, and laptops
Salary and benefits
- Basic salary of £35,000 FTE (depending on experience)
